Jacob Ashley

Jacob, coming from over 18 years of experience in the food industry, found himself unfulfilled with his career and sought a new path aligned with his passion for art and technology. He found success with "The Wooden Arcade". Over the span of a decade, he meticulously cut and hand painted over a thousand wooden retro pixelated video game pieces, showcasing them at conventions, creating for celebrities and shipping them to fans worldwide. He also founded "Kong Klub," a thriving online community for competitive arcade Donkey Kong players, still being used by over 1000 active members today.

Driven by his artistic flair and knack for community building, Jacob elevated his skills into the realm of graphic design, specializing in 80s and 90s toy and pop culture imagery. Today, he channels his creativity into crafting vibrant, clean, and modern web pages, marking a significant evolution in his career journey by blending his eye for design with building projects that help change the future.

Jacob resides in Portland, OR, with his wife Leah, and their son Oliver.
